Heritage Cuvee Saint-Agnes Blanc Organic 2022
' This is a family-run vineyard in Saint-Mathieu-de-Treviers dates back to the 13th Centruy and the bishops of Maguelone. Vines, olive trees and sheep contributed to its prosperity after the Revolution. Backed by the first foothills of the massif, the property has seen the continuous succession of a long line of winegrowers, down the maternal line. In 1992, the lastest generation chose to settle down and reconnect with production in this private cellar. The three brothers cultivate what was once harsh scrubland to create some of the greatest wines of the region. These men of taste and perseverance have combined effort and love of the land to reveal how good their terroir can be. The brothers now run their property organically. 50% Roussane, 20% Clairette, 20% Grenache blanc & gris, 10% Marsanne '
Mas De Daumas Gassac, Blanc, - Half 2020
A blend of Viognier, Chardonnay, Petit Manseng, and a touch of Chenin Blanc, this is a distinctive wine with plenty of character. Medium-bodied and textured, it unfolds in layers of tropical fruit, ripe stone fruit, and a drizzle of honey. The finish is long and lingering, keeping that richness in balance. A great match with French onion soup. Famous for its Grands Vins, the Mas de Daumas Gassac has been a family owned vineyard for more than 40 years and belongs to the Guibert family. The estate is set in a wild and enchanting valley, close to the magnificent romanesque abbey of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. 50 hectares of a deep, well drained soil, free from any chemical fertilisers.
