Pulenta Estate Chardonnay (VIII) 2023
Pulenta Chardonnay VIII is a refined and expressive white wine from the prestigious vineyards of Mendoza, Argentina. This wine showcases Pulenta Estate’s dedication to crafting Chardonnays with elegance and freshness, combining careful vineyard management with meticulous winemaking techniques to highlight the pure varietal character. Meet the producer Pulenta Estate is a family-owned winery in Mendoza, known for producing high-quality, terroir-driven wines that reflect the unique climate and soils of the region. Their philosophy emphasizes balance, elegance, and precision, producing wines that are approachable yet complex, and that express the personality of the vineyard. Production Grapes are hand-harvested at optimal ripeness to ensure freshness and aromatic intensity. The must undergoes careful fermentation, partly in stainless steel to preserve crisp fruit flavours and partly in French oak barrels to add complexity, texture, and subtle oak nuances. A portion of the wine may also undergo malolactic fermentation to enhance creaminess and roundness. The wine is then aged for several months in French oak barrels to achieve a harmonious integration of flavours. Tasting notes Bright straw-yellow in colour, the nose reveals aromas of white peach, citrus, and hints of tropical fruit with delicate notes of vanilla and toasted nuts from oak maturation. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, fresh, and vibrant, with balanced acidity, smooth texture, and a long, elegant finish.
