Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve Japanese Blended Whisky
Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is distinctive and elegant, made from a variety of single malts that have been blended and finished in wine casks made from French oak. This cask type adds a floral and slightly nutty character to the liquid with a sustained fruit character. This is rich with notes of red berries and forest fruits along with candied citrus an white flowers. There is a slight peppery character on the palate with dark chocolate, ginger and red apple before a long and sustained oak spice finish.
The Kurayoshi 8 Year Old Pure Malt
Aged in ex-bourbon white oak barrels for over 8 years. The rich aromas and deep flavours displayed by the Kurayoshi Malt Whisky 8 Year Old reflects the maturation in carefully selected oak casks. Not chill-filtered. Aromas are reminiscent of fresh malted barley and dried fruit, toffee and red berries. The palate is present with sweet toasted nuts, orange peel, fruity and vanilla.
