Distillery & Botanicals The Isle of Harris Distillery was founded in 2015 in Tarbert, Isle of Harris, with a mission to create a sustainable social distillery at the heart of the island community. The gin is made with nine botanicals: Outer Hebridean Sugar Kelp seaweed, Macedonian Juniper Berries, English Coriander Seed, Cubebs / Javan Pepper, Bitter Orange Peel, Angelica Root, Cassia Bark, Orris Root, and Liquorice Root. Bottled at 45% ABV. Tasting Notes The nose is well-defined and inviting, with juniper and pine needles immediately followed by fresh citrus notes of bitter orange, lime, and grapefruit. Silent Pool Rose Expression Gin
This is a unique variation on the best selling classic gin Silent Pool which has been subtly amplified with rose. The Rose Expression shares the Silent Pool Gin DNA in terms of its complexity and refreshingly individual character, however the core recipe has been refined to compliment and enhance the rose notes. Some of the original botanicals - pear, bergamot, cubeb and cardamom - have been increased while lemon becomes the leading citrus.
