JCP Maltus, Le Rêve Rosé Côtes de Provence, (Magnum) 2022
Coming from the beautiful passage of Flassans-sur-Issole, in the South East of France, Le Rêve benefits from a warm and sunny climate during the day and cool at night. The soil is clay-limestone and thus offers delicate mineral notes to this elegant wine. Pale pink tinged with rose gold hues. The nose is intense, subtly mingling crushed strawberries with white flowers, red cherries, candied pears and a touch of mint. The palate is crisp and fresh, the fruit is beautifully balanced; a full and elegant wine with a refreshing, dry finish. Great persistence.
Lalomba Finca Lalinde Rioja Rosado (Magnum) 2023
' Finca Lalinde is nestled on the gentle slopes of the rugged Yerga landscape in Eastern Rioja. The bedrock consists of alluvial sediments resting on limestone layers, with a well-structured soil texture. The upper, steeper part of the vineyard contains more sand, while the lower areas are enriched with coarser materials like silt and clay, the products The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in 12kg crates. They aretransported by refrigerated truck to the Lalomba winery in Haro. After being stored in a cold chamber for 12 hours, the grapes are transferred directly to the press. Only the first, gentle pressings are used in the production of Finca Lalinde, giving rise to the finest must. This then undergoes stabilisation for 3 days at 2°C. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks, and the wine is aged on its lees for six months in unlined concrete tanks, which enhances the wine's creamy texture and complexity. This meticulous process results in a rose of refined character, achieving a perfect balance between freshness and depth. '
