Jura Journey
Jura Journey is the entry level expression in the new range from the Island distiller. The new range of single malts aims to combine both the Island and Highland styles of whisky in one delicious dram. The new style focuses on using ex-bourbon barrels and a limited amount of peat to produce fruity malts with subtle smoke. This no age statement whisky gives spiced fruit and soft vanilla on the nose whilst delivering pear, pecan and delicious cinnamon on the palate. The finish is satisfying with toffee and fudge. A great entry level whisky.
Tomintoul Seiridh Oloroso Sherry Cask
The Seiridh has aromas that are rich and inviting with notes of sultana, butterscotch and candied pecans. On the palate it has luscious layers of dried figs and Christmas cake highlighted with touches of cedar spice. The finish is warm, nutty and long with notes of chocolate, raisins, dried fruits and hints of wood - perfect. A beautiful complex single malt which is produced by Master Distiller Robert Fleming who has hand selected Oloroso sherry butts from an old bodega in Andalucia to finish this Tomintoul single malt.
