Lalomba Finca Lalinde Rioja Rosado 2023
' Finca Lalinde is nestled on the gentle slopes of the rugged Yerga landscape in Eastern Rioja. The upper, steeper part of the vineyard contains more sand, while the lower areas are enriched with coarser materials like silt and clay, the products The grapes are harvested by hand and placed in 12kg crates. They aretransported by refrigerated truck to the Lalomba winery in Haro. After being stored in a cold chamber for 12 hours, the grapes are transferred directly to the press. Only the first, gentle pressings are used in the production of Finca Lalinde, giving rise to the finest must. This then undergoes stabilisation for 3 days at 2°C. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks, and the wine is aged on its lees for six months in unlined concrete tanks, which enhances the wine's creamy texture and complexity. This meticulous process results in a rose of refined character, achieving a perfect balance between freshness and depth. '

In 2009, Dutch entrepreneur Eric Kurver founded Maison Saint Aix estate to realise his lifelong ambition to craft the world’s finest rosé. Over a decade later, he and his family have transformed it into one of Provence’s leading producers, championing sustainability and site-specific winemaking. In 2022, Nicolas Quiles joined as winemaker, bringing over 20 years of global winemaking expertise to further refine the house style and uphold the uncompromising quality of AIX’s wines. The grapes hail from one of the highest sites in the Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence. 420 metres above sea level, this 75-hectare vineyard, planted on clay and limestone soils near the Sainte-Victoire mountain, is farmed with a biodynamic approach.
