This give it a fruity style with vegetale notes. It has been triple distilled for smoothness and matured in sherry and chardonnay oak casks.
Wolfburn Morven Single Malt
Wolfburn Morven Single Malt 70cl Morven is the lightly peated expression from Wolfburn Distillery, taking its name from the highest point in Caithness, where open moorland and ancient peat stretches as far as the eye can see. Why You'll Love It A rare lightly peated Highland single malt that pays homage to Wolfburn's 19th-century heritage, when the original distillery was largely fired by peat. Gentle distillation and careful maturation in purpose-built warehouses deliver a whisky of real character and restraint. Distillery and Production Wolfburn Distillery, Caithness, Scotland. Malted barley is lightly smoked during the drying process, capturing the spirit of the surrounding moorland. Matured in virgin oak casks for a distinctive, clean sweetness. Tasting Notes Nose: Light smoke with hints of fruit, fresh sea air, vanilla, and wood shavings. Palate: Floral notes, raisins, and light spices, opening into malty warmth with soft honey sweetness on the finish. Perfect Pairings Enjoy neat or with a splash of water to open up the floral and smoky notes. Pairs well with smoked salmon, mild cheeses, or dark chocolate. Details Distillery: Wolfburn.
