Langhe Nebbiolo, Crissante 2022
Good perfumed nose with super juicy fruit, fresh and rich with hints of strawberries too. Sappy ripe tannins on the finish too, very much a mini Barolo and from the upper slopes of a single vineyard that produces Barolo lower down.
Paringa Estate Peninsula Pinot Noir, Mornington Peninsula 2024
Vibrant red cherries and spice aromas leap from the glass. The is a more savoury note on the palate with a touch of dried herbs and dark fruits, the tannins are nicely integrated and there is a smoky hint to give a rounded, complete and balanced texture. This is Morning Peninsula at its best.
