Lindores Abbey Nectere Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a richly sherried expression that brings together centuries of distilling heritage at Lindores Abbey with the deep traditions of Spanish sherry craftsmanship. This Lowland whisky has been exclusively matured in Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, Amontillado and Palo Cortado casks, it delivers layers of dark fruit, spice and nutty depth, creating a whisky that feels both historic and forward‑looking. Its name, taken from the Latin conectere meaning to link or bind, reflects the way this whisky connects past and present in a single, indulgent pour. The character is shaped entirely by exceptional sherry wood, resulting in a bold, complex and beautifully textured single malt ideal for those who love rich, full‑flavoured whisky. The aroma opens with sweet treacle, red apples, vanilla cream and gentle cinnamon. The palate is velvety and generous, showing molasses, chocolate raisins, nutty macaroons, toffee and warm baking spices, all wrapped in a smooth, balanced richness. The finish is long, creamy and warming, with lingering spice that slowly fades, leaving a deep, satisfying impression.
Torabhaig Legacy Series Cnoc Na Moine
The third and final release in the Legacy Series from Torabhaig on the Isle of Skye. This is a heavily peated single malt made with concerto malted barley with an in grain pehnols content of 78.4 PPM. Fermented with pinnacle and anchor yeasts and then aged in a mix of American oak oloroso, pedro ximenez and ex bourbon casks. This is then bottled at 46% with a residual phenols level of 19.7 PPM. This is a robustly peated spirit with a deceptively refined character resulting in a complex and characterful maritime whisky.
