Longrow Peated Single Malt Whisky
Longrow Peated is made by Springbank and offers those who enjoy a heavily peated whisky the chance to enjoy a lingering smoky taste that travels through the senses like the smoke billows from a kiln. Aromas are very creamy, vanilla custard. The smoke develops and toasted marshmallows, herbs and rich fruits appear over time. The palate is incredibly well balanced – rich and creamy with a slight medicinal hint. The smoke is always present and washes over the palate in waves which leads to a gentle smoky finish that lingers and lingers. 1 per Customer/Address only.
Peats Beast Cask Strength 52.1%
This is the cask strength version of Peat's Beast which is more intense and a bit of a handul. On the nose is has honey notes with vanilla spice, then the peat smoke comes in, back by sea spray and charcoal. The palate is powerful to start then revealing, banana , treacle and mocha backed by a spicy finale of ginger and cinnamon and the ever growing smokiness.
