Louis Cheze Caroline Saint-Joseph 2022

The family property was taken over in 1978 by Louis Chèze. The Domaine Louis Chèze is located on the top of the hillside of the commune of Limony, on the right bank of the Rhône, 60 Kms south of Lyon, in the heart of the northern Côtes du Rhône vineyard area. Monsieur Chèze started the adventure with 1 Ha in Saint-Joseph and a few vines he rented. Today, the estate represents 45 Ha in the prestigious appellations such as Condrieu, Saint-Joseph, Côte-Rôtie as well as well-situated vineyards in Vins de Pays districts. Since the year 2000, he is one of the forerunners with two winegrower friends reviving the fabulous Roman terroir of Seyssuel. Louis' determination, curiosity and rigour are of the utmost importance when it comes to monitoring the vineyard and making the wines. Each vintage is an in-depth search to capture the quintessence of the terroirs. Numerous vintages, each with their own differences will delight the wine and food lover in you.

Saumur Rouge, Domaine Guiberteau 2023

The 2023 Saumur Rouge from Domaine Guiberteau is a supple, medium-bodied Loire red built on 100% Cabernet Franc - fresh and direct, with bright red-fruit aromas of cherry and raspberry, subtle herbal and earthy hints, and a touch of forest-floor complexity. It has a mineral-tinged finish that keeps things clean and refreshing, and is the sort of wine that slips easily into a casual dinner, but still has enough character to pair with grilled meats, charcuterie, or tomato-based dishes. Domaine Guiberteau is a family-run estate in Saumur (Loire Valley), now managed by Romain Guiberteau. Since 1996 they’ve focused on quality over quantity, converting to organic viticulture and working with sustainable, minimal-intervention methods. Their vineyards range from 7 to 80 years old.
