Mas de Daumas Gassac, Rouge 2019

Famous for its Grands Vins, the Mas de Daumas Gassac has been a family owned vineyard for more than 40 years and belongs to the Guibert family. It is set in a wild and enchanting valley, close to the magnificent romanesque abbey of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert. 50 hectares of a deep, well drained soil, free from any chemical fertilisers. 2019 is a racy vintage combining elegance & full power. It rolls smoothly in the mouth, leaving crisp flavours of perfectly ripened fruit, predominately blackberry & blackcurrant. Spicy with long delicate aromas & tannin lining the mouth.

Roserock Pinot Noir 2023

The Roserock Pinot Noir beautifully expresses the elegance and energy of the Eola–Amity Hills, one of Oregon’s most celebrated subregions. Crafted by Véronique Boss-Drouhin, this wine reflects the harmony between volcanic soils, cooling coastal breezes, and meticulous winemaking. It captures the signature balance of power and finesse that defines Roserock’s style. Meet the Producer Roserock is part of the Drouhin Oregon family—founded by the Drouhin family of Burgundy, renowned for their commitment to crafting wines of finesse, structure, and terroir expression. Drawing on generations of experience, Véronique Drouhin combines Burgundian tradition with Oregon’s distinctive climate and soils to produce elegant, age-worthy Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays. Vineyards Located at the southern tip of the Eola–Amity Hills in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, the Roserock vineyard benefits from ancient volcanic soils, ideal elevation, and the cooling influence of the Van Duzer corridor, which helps preserve acidity and lengthen the growing season. The estate’s 35 vineyard blocks are LIVE-certified sustainable, reflecting a deep respect for the land and environment. Vinification The Roserock Pinot Noir is crafted as a cuvée selection from individually hand-picked and sorted blocks across the estate. Each parcel is fermented separately to preserve its unique character before blending. Véronique Drouhin emphasizes elegance and precision, focusing on gentle extraction to achieve a silky texture and graceful complexity. The wine is matured carefully to balance vibrant fruit expression with refined structure. Tasting Notes Aromas of black cherry, raspberry, and violet unfold alongside hints of dried herbs, coffee, and stony minerality. On the palate, it is vibrant and poised, with flavours of strawberry, plum, and subtle spice, supported by bright acidity and supple tannins. The finish is long, graceful, and layered, showcasing both youth and aging potential. Food Match Perfect with roast du
