Matt Parish Special Bottling Rutherford Petit Verdot 2022

Petit Verdot is a unique varietal that is planted in small amounts throughout most of the great grape-growing regions of the world. A Bordeaux native it is valued for its rich purple color, lifted aromatics of violets, pomegranate, sweet berry fruit, and lively acidity. It is typically only used as a blender in small percentages with Cabernet Sauvignon and other Bordeaux-based reds because it can dominate, for me, it makes a very interesting stand-alone varietal wine.

Tabali Talinay Pai Pinot Noir 2018

Stunning Pinot from the Talinay Vineyard. Winemaker Felipe Müller planted the best, limestone rich slope with a field selection from Vosne Romanee and Gevrey Chambertin. This is the first vintage and has already been hailed as one of the best Pinot's from Chile. The nose is attractive with brooding cherry fruit, floral lift and an underlying stoney minerality. The palate is taught with delicious red berry fruits, layered upon precise minerality and freshness. It’s a very long and clean wine with extremely fine, chalky tannins.
