Meet the Producer Mendel Wines blends the expertise of Roberto de la Mota, one of Argentina's most respected winemakers, with the tradition of a well-established Argentine family, producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of Luján de Cuyo and Agrelo with precision and elegance. Production Hand-harvested grapes are sorted and 100% destemmed, with manual berry selection. Fermentation and maceration take place in a combination of concrete and 80-hectolitre tanks, with daily manual pigeage for around two weeks. The wine then spends 12 months ageing in new and used American and French oak, with minimal filtration before bottling. Tasting Notes Deep, rich ruby in colour, the nose reveals aromas of red berries, violets, herbs, and subtle spice. The palate is medium to full-bodied with elegant structure, vibrant fruit flavours, fine tannins, and a lingering, harmonious finish.
