Mendel Rosadia 2024

Mendel Rosadia is a fabulous, Provence-inspired rosé wine from one of Mendoza's most acclaimed boutique wineries. Crafted from a blend of Pinot Noir , Merlot , and Cabernet Franc , this is an elegant, crisp, and fruit-forward rosé with wonderful freshness, delicate aromatics, and a persistent, refined finish. Meet the Producer Mendel Wines represents a unique partnership between the established Argentine Sielecki family and the renowned winemaker Roberto de la Mota, whose father Don Raúl de la Mota was one of Argentina's most celebrated winemakers. Founded in 2002, the estate is dedicated to producing wines of exceptional quality and authenticity from Mendoza's finest vineyard sites, combining deep local knowledge with a passion for precision and elegance. Vineyard and Production Whole bunches are pneumatically pressed before the musts are fermented separately in small stainless steel tanks at 16°C to preserve maximum freshness and aromatic intensity. Malolactic fermentation is deliberately avoided to retain the wine's vibrant acidity and crisp, fruit-driven character. After fermentation, the individual varieties are blended and bottled to create Rosadia's signature Provence-inspired style. Tasting Notes Intense, fruity, and fresh aromas of white peach, pineapple, and citrus open the nose. The palate is fresh, fruity, and very soft, with an elegant, easy-drinking character and a persistent, refined finish. Grape Variety Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Franc Perfect Pairings A wonderfully versatile rosé, perfect with grilled fish, light salads, charcuterie, soft cheeses, and summer mezze. Also excellent on its own as an aperitif on a warm afternoon. About the Region Mendoza is Argentina's most celebrated wine region, producing wines of exceptional quality from high-altitude vineyards in the shadow of the Andes.
