Mont Rocher Malbec Vielles Vignes 2022

The wines of Terres Fidèles are designed to capture the wild spirit of south-western France, where old-vine Grenache, Carignan, Malbec, Cinsault, Viognier, and more thrive. All are authentically crafted, small-batch wines rooted in place. As founder Fergal Tynan MW explains: “Over the last two decades, we’ve been creating wines in the wilds of south-western France – embarking on adventures; exploring, discovering and rediscovering remarkable places and vineyard sites. From the foothills and valleys beneath the iconic Pyrenees, out through the gorges to the coastal areas of the Mediterranean, we’ve journeyed with our friends – exceptional growers who excel at their craft and have an inherent respect for the land that they and theirs are a part of. It is these people and places that inspire our winemaking.” Winemaking Harvested at optimal ripeness in mid-September, the grapes are destemmed and crushed before undergoing a three-week maceration. Extraction is achieved by gentle pumping over during the first ten days, ensuring purity and balance in the finished wine. Tasting Note Rich, smooth, and mouth-watering, this Malbec reveals aromas of blueberry and ripe plum, with a rounded palate and supple texture that highlight the variety’s expressive side. Viticulture The Malbec grapes are sourced from high-altitude hillside vineyards in the Haute Vallée of Limoux. Here, rugged, limestone-rich soils and the cooler climate produce some of the most distinctive and expressive old-vine Malbec in the region, marked by purity of fruit and a clear goût de terroir . Food Matching Perfect with barbecued meats or strong, characterful cheeses. Technical Details Variety : 100% Malbec

Ordinal Cabernet Sauvignon 2024

Ordinal Cabernet Sauvignon is a bright, fragrant red from the Cotes de Thau in the Languedoc , crafted by Boutinot France where Mediterranean warmth meets cooling sea breezes. The result is a Cabernet of genuine freshness and elegance, vinified in stainless steel to preserve its vibrant dark fruit character. Why You'll Love It Boutinot France began as a small importer and has grown into a respected name in French winemaking, producing characterful, well-made wines that reflect their origins. The Cotes de Thau is one of the Languedoc's most distinctive sub-zones, where the proximity of the Mediterranean and the cooling influence of sea breezes allow Cabernet Sauvignon to ripen fully while retaining the freshness and lift that make this wine so appealing. This is southern French Cabernet at its most approachable and honest. Vineyard and Production Grapes are sourced from sun-drenched vineyards in the Cotes de Thau, where the combination of Mediterranean warmth and cooling coastal breezes creates ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon. Grapes are gently pressed to preserve vibrant dark fruit flavours, then vinified entirely in stainless steel to ensure purity, freshness, and a supple, approachable texture. Tasting Notes Fragrant and refreshing on the nose, with juicy blackcurrant fruit at the fore. The palate is silky and lifted through the mid-palate, finishing smooth and ripe with a clean, satisfying length. Perfect Pairings Pair with roast lamb with rosemary and garlic, grilled red meats, or a hearty pasta dish. Finish with a mature cheese such as Parmesan. Grape Varieties Cabernet Sauvignon
