MOULIN A VENT Empreinte Domaine Paul Janin et Fils 2022
From vines under 40 years old on granitic soils. 60–70% whole-bunch. Yet another cru beaujolais in this Bunch selection. Firmer than Adnams’ Morgon (Domaine du Petit Pérou 2022), this should drink well with food now but is definitely worth ageing, too. Lightly chalky texture with true terroir flavours. (JR) 13%
MÜLLER THURGAU Sass Rigais Manni Nössing 2024
Waxy apples, crushed herbs and a touch of raw nuts come through over a mineral base. Fresh and focused, with a medium-bodied, round texture and a zesty finish. Drink or hold.
