Odd Lot Pinot Noir

Scheid Vineyards Odd Lot Pinot Noir is a vibrant and expressive California red wine, crafted from a blend of Pinot Noir, Tempranillo, Malbec, Petite Syrah, Zinfandel, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and other varieties. Lush aromas of black cherry and plum lead to bright red cherry and raspberry flavours, with subtle hints of mocha and toasty oak. The medium-bodied palate is balanced with silky tannins and a long, lingering finish. Why You'll Love It This is a unique and approachable California red wine that delivers exceptional value. The Odd Lot concept allows the winemaker to blend the best parcels from different varieties, creating a wine with complexity and character well beyond its price point. Produced by Scheid Vineyards with 100% wind-powered, sustainably farmed practices, it is a wine you can feel good about. Aged for 10 months in French oak with vegan-friendly winemaking, it is perfect for everyday enjoyment. Meet the Producer Scheid Vineyards focuses on sustainable and environmentally conscious viticulture, producing wines that reflect the character of their Californian terroir. Their estate is 100% wind powered and 100% sustainably farmed, ensuring quality and ecological responsibility in every bottle. Production Fruit is carefully sorted, destemmed and crushed before fermentation in stainless steel tanks at warm temperatures. Gentle punch downs are performed several times daily to extract colour and flavour. Once fermentation is complete, the wine is pressed and allowed to settle before racking for oak ageing. The wine is aged for 10 months in French oak with 25% new barrels, imparting delicate notes of vanilla and toast while enhancing structure and complexity. Tasting Notes Bright ruby in colour with aromas of black cherry and plum, and red cherry and raspberry on the palate. Soft mocha and toasted oak notes complement the fruit, while silky tannins and a persistent red fruit finish provide elegance and balance. Perfect Pairings Pairs beautifully with BBQ

The Listening Station Shiraz 2023

Soft, supple, and dangerously moreish, The Listening Station Shiraz is a bright and aromatic red from Victoria. With silky fruit, gentle spice, and a savoury edge, this is Shiraz at its most approachable – smooth, elegant, and irresistibly drinkable. Meet the producer Boutinot Australia’s Listening Station range is quintessentially Australian – approachable, full of character, and consistently great quality. These wines are crafted from carefully selected vineyard sites, delivering styles that are both versatile and hugely appealing. Production Sourced from old Victorian soils, this Shiraz captures the region’s finesse, purity, and signature eucalypt character. Grapes were harvested at night to preserve freshness and crushed within the hour before fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks at 22–25°C. Pump-overs were used to extract colour and flavour without harsh tannins. Around 20% of the final blend was matured in barrel, adding texture and depth to the finished wine. Tasting notes Bright, juicy, and aromatic with red fruits, white pepper, and a hint of smoky bacon fat. Supple on the palate with fine, silky tannins and vibrant fruit – this is the most elegant and drinkable Shiraz in the range to date. Food match Ideal with Moroccan lamb tagine, roast vegetables, or a selection of hard cheeses. Grape Shiraz 100%
