Pa Road Pinot Gris 2025

Pa Road Pinot Gris is an elegant and aromatic white wine from the celebrated region of Marlborough , New Zealand . Crafted with a focus on varietal purity and balance, it showcases the lush, fragrant potential of Pinot Gris at its finest, with a texture and aromatic complexity that sets it apart from the crowd. Why You'll Love It Pa Road Pinot Gris has earned serious critical recognition, including 94 Points and 5 Stars from Sam Kim at Wine Orbit and 92+ Points Premium from Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier. Behind the accolades is a wine of genuine character and finesse. Fragrant, layered and beautifully balanced, it is as impressive as an aperitif as it is at the dinner table. If you think Pinot Gris is just a lighter alternative to Chardonnay, this wine will change your mind. Vineyard and Production Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness to preserve their aromatics and natural flavour intensity. Gentle pressing and controlled fermentation ensure the wine maintains its freshness throughout, while careful attention to natural acidity and texture results in a wine of real structure and elegance. Tasting Notes Fragrant and layered on the nose, with spicy and floral notes alongside hints of honeyed pear and jasmine. On the palate, flavours of custard apple, ginger and bush honey unfold, balanced by a lively acidity and a subtle oyster shell salinity. The finish is harmonious, refreshing and well-structured, with a lingering aromatic length. Perfect Pairings Perfect as an aperitif and equally at home at the dinner table. Pairs beautifully with a wide range of Asian cuisine, from Thai green curry to sushi and dim sum. Also excellent alongside roasted pork, soft cheeses or a light seafood risotto. Warwick Estate Professor Black Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Professor Black loved his peaches. In fact, he would use Warwick land to carry out agricultural experiments involving peach trees for the University of Stellenbosch. Today, the peach trees are gone, but his legend lives on in a wine as vibrant today as he ever was. The Professor Black vineyards are high up in the foothills of the Simonsberg, with one of the blocks being 36 years old (that’s really old for Sauvignon). The palate is alive and zesty, with passionfruit and citrus elements.
