A moderately reduced nose definitely needs air so if you’re going to try a bottle in the near-term, do aerate it well. The middle weight plus flavors possess better density and richness than the 2017 version along with equally evident minerality on the youthfully austere finish that flashes a touch of asperity but not really overt dryness. It’s not clear if this will eventually round out as I suspect that it will always have a mild edge to it.
