Produttori Vini Manduria Zin Fiano 2024

Nestled in the heart of Manduria, in Italy’s Puglia region, Produttori di Manduria has a long-standing tradition of crafting exceptional wines from native grape varieties. Specialising in whites from Fiano and Fiano Minutolo, the estate combines vibrant fruit, bright acidity, and expressive aromas. Zin Fiano is a standout example, reflecting the character and elegance of Manduria’s terroir. Winemaking Fermentation is temperature controlled at 18°C, and the wine is aged in stainless steel vats to preserve its delicate aromas, vibrant freshness, and natural minerality. Tasting Note Bright straw yellow in colour, Zin Fiano opens with intense aromas of peach, melon, herbs, and pine. The medium-bodied palate is ripe and warm, with zesty acidity and a soft, fresh finish. A pleasant floral note lingers beautifully, highlighting the wine’s elegance and balance. Viticulture Grapes are picked from 20-year-old espalier-trained vines at the end of August to early September, yielding around 90 quintals per hectare. Food Matching Pairs wonderfully with fish and shellfish, as well as lighter meats such as chicken, pork, and veal. Spier Seaward Chenin Blanc 2021

Seaward grapes are selected from South Africa's top coastal areas, growing in a narrow band close to the cold Atlantic ocean and the temperate waters of False Bay. Such terroir provides what you might call a perfect storm - with barely any human intervention needed to produce outstanding harvests for our winemakers, every year. The vines for this wine are found in the Tygerberg Hills and in Stellenbosch. Both sites are close to the Atlantic Ocean, benefitting from the cool winds cooling down the areas. Vines are a mixture of Dryland and Drip Irrigation supplemented vineyards. Spier is one of South Africa's oldest wine farms with a recorded winemaking history dating back to 1692. The winemaking team is committed to crafting wines truly expressive of their terroir, with minimal interference. While rooted in this heritage, they have a vibrant and conscious energy. Their Growing for Good initiatives empower communities to make positive social and environmental change. Ranging from art and entrepreneurship to regenerative farming and ecological restoration, these projects and partnerships are creating a ripple effect of lasting and meaningful impact.
