Salcombe Gin Start Point Offshore Strength
Salcombe Distilling Co . has released a special edition of its classic London Dry gin, Start Point, in partnership with the Royal Ocean Racing Club. The new gin, Start Point – Offshore Strength, is distilled to a higher strength than the original, bringing a much richer, fuller flavour to the distinct citrus notes of red grapefruit and heady juniper. Steeped in maritime history and inspired by cargoes of fresh citrus fruits and spices once carried by the fastest ships of their day, Start Point – Offshore Strength pays homage to the famous 19th century Salcombe Fruiters and their voyages of discovery. The gin is the perfect sundowner for sailors to enjoy after a day on the water.
Strane Oaked Gin 50cl
Strane oaked gin takes their full-bodied gin which is made in a small whisky copper still. It has classical botanicals such as juniper, coriander seeds and liquorice root with some locally foraged botanicals, basil, sage and garden mint. It is then aged for 18 months in a sherry cask which gives additional flavours and structure.
