Sourced from historic soils in Victoria, the wine balances finesse, purity, and structure with the classic eucalypt character and a subtly saline finish typical of the region. Carefully harvested at night and crushed within an hour, the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled tanks to preserve the bright fruit and avoid harsh tannins. A touch of barrel ageing and a sneaky 5% Malbec addition provide a hint of mulberry fruit and flowery perfume, making this Shiraz dangerously drinkable by the glass. These wines are crafted from carefully selected vineyard sites, delivering styles that are both versatile and hugely appealing. Production Sourced from old Victorian soils, this Shiraz captures the region’s finesse, purity, and signature eucalypt character. Grapes were harvested at night to preserve freshness and crushed within the hour before fermentation in temperature-controlled tanks at 22–25°C. Pump-overs were used to extract colour and flavour without harsh tannins. Around 20% of the final blend was matured in barrel, adding texture and depth to the finished wine.
