Speyburn 10 Year Old Single Malt Whisky
Speyburn 10 Year Old is a classic Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, matured for ten years in hand-selected American oak ex-bourbon casks. This careful ageing brings soft notes of vanilla, creamy toffee and gentle oak, creating a smooth, well-balanced and highly approachable dram. The distillery remains the only one to draw its water from the Granty Burn, a tributary of the River Spey. Set in a secluded, tree-lined valley, Speyburn benefits from its unique natural surroundings, allowing the whisky to mature slowly and develop depth and character. The result is a mellow, award-winning single malt with refined complexity. In the glass, Speyburn 10 Year Old displays a pale gold colour with amber highlights. The nose offers fresh orange, red apple and delicate cinnamon. On the palate, creamy toffee and butterscotch are layered with notes of baked apple, leading to a long, smooth and gently sweet finish. Its flavour profile centres on citrus, creamy toffee and fresh fruit. Winner of multiple international accolades, including Gold at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Silver medals at the International Wine & Spirits Competition and the International Spirits Challenge, Speyburn 10 Year Old is an excellent introduction to Speyside whisky and a reliable favourite for experienced whisky lovers alike.
Tomintoul 10 Year Old
Tomintoul 10 Year Old shows the gentle, easy‑drinking style the distillery is known for, shaped by a decade of maturation in ex‑bourbon casks that highlight its soft Speyside character. Produced in the Livet Glen, it’s crafted from lightly peated malt and distilled in tall stills that contribute to its smooth, approachable profile. The aroma brings sweet malt, vanilla, light citrus and a touch of fresh oak. On the palate, it offers a creamy, mellow texture with notes of honey, soft fruit, gentle spice and a clean, rounded finish that reflects its reputation as one of the region’s most delicate single malts.
