Beautifully ripe Petit Verdot is a rare and wonderful thing! This is full-bodied and packed full of dense ripe fruit. Careful use of French oak brings class and elegance before a mineral finish.
Te Mata Alma Pinot Noir, Hawke's Bay 2022
Tinned red fruits and leafy Pinot aromas, ripe red cherry and plumper darker notes, with low level hints of pepper and spice. Ripe and dense with very good freshness. The palate is medium weight and juicy, a savoury vein lends structure, as does a little wood tannin and sap. Supple, complex and long, got us thinking of Saint-Aubin.
