Wildeberg Wild House Chenin Blanc 2023
Chenin is the backbone grape varietal of South Africa; it’s the most profusely planted variety in our country and is closely associated to our wine-making identity. Ripe peach and tropical fruit on the nose with fresh citrus notes. Honeyed and textured on the palate with crisp acidity and hints of honey dew melon and lychee leading to a bright, zesty finish with fresh lemony acidity. A brilliant choice to go with seafood, poultry and chargrilled vegetables.
Wildeberg Wild House Sauvignon Blanc 2024
The grapes for the Wild House Sauvignon Blanc are predominantly from Elgin, a coast region renowned for high quality, cool climate Sauvignon Blanc. It has been naturally fermented in stainless steel tanks with no additions other than a small dose of sulphur and kept on the gross lees for 5 months. It is a vibrant cool climate style of sauvignon with intense citrus and crushed nettle aromas. Ripe and concentrated fruits are offset by a grapefruit tang. Food Pairing: A great match with sea bass.
