Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve is a premium non-vintage Champagne that exemplifies the finesse and depth of one of the smallest Grand Marques in Champagne. Grapes are sourced from 60 selected crus across the region, including Chardonnay from Oger, Pinot Noir from Ambonnay, and Meunier from Verneuil, ensuring the house style is consistently expressed. The final blend comprises 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, and 20% Pinot Meunier, with 50% reserve wines averaging 10 years in age. The base wines undergo fermentation primarily in stainless steel, with a small fraction in old oak barrels to add texture. After blending, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and is aged on its lees in historic chalk cellars for 36–48 months, significantly longer than the legal minimum.
