This 17 year old single malt from Bladnoch has had the pleasure of being finished in Californian red wine casks which have made it even smoother, richer and more complex. Their legendary master distiller, Ian Macmillan hand selects every cask to bring together this rich and smooth expression that carries a profile made of sweet and spicy notes throughout and dried fruits on the finish. This is a tribute to a rare, lowland single malt scotch whisky. In Galloway, a collection of bluestone buildings sit perched on the river Bladnoch. Dating back to 1817, Bladnoch is one of the oldest single malt scotch whisky producers. For a distillery with a rich 200 year history, Bladnoch is enjoying a bold, powerful and exciting revival!
