These whiskeys are expertly blended using some outstanding stocks, resulting in an expression rich in flavour that has garnered a global following for the venerable Owl. This particular offering, Batch 11, has been bottled at an impressive 59.4% ABV. On the nose, it presents scents of milk chocolate and cinder toffee, which are quite buttery, followed by a subtle hint of baking spice and rye heat. The palate reveals creamy vanilla contrasted by spicy oak, along with an evolving sweetness of orchard fruit and citrus oil. The finish leaves a slight twist of redcurrant.
