About this spirit
This blended malt has been named after the father of Japanese Whisky Masataka Taketsuru who was the first person to learn about whisky in Scotland and then produce it in Japan. This 17 years old is a blend of Yoichi and Miyagikyo single malts aged in bourbon and sherry casks. It is spicy with a fruity nose, rounded on the palate with sherry flavours developing with a lively finish.
