About this spirit
This Irish whiskey which has been made from malt and grain whiskies aged for over three years is called after an area in Dublin called Liberties. The areawas once called 'Hell' in the 18 century and it is said that an carved oak devil stood watch over the entrance to the Liberties, but disappeared. Legend has it that the carving was made into whiskey barrels, where the dark spirit consumed the maturing spirit. Complex with dark fruits and wood on the nose. The palate is rich with caramel and Christmas cake smooth with a peppery twist on the finish.
