About this spirit
The Irishman Founder's Reserve is a superb Irish blend, comprising 70% single malt whiskey and 30% single pot still whiskey. Following a triple distillation process, it is aged in bourbon casks, creating a magnificent spirit for which Bernard Walsh can rightly be proud. The aroma reveals notes of Peach Campino sweeties (reminiscent of their strawberries and cream version), apples, and a gentle, spicy hint of white pepper. On the palate, it offers a rich and glorious mouthfeel, abundant with ripe fruits, and harmoniously paired with vanilla and cinnamon. The finish is impressively long, resulting in a well-rounded and finely balanced tasting experience.
