Widely regarded as the master of Alvarinho, Anselmo Mendes selects fruit from granite-soiled vineyards close to the river, where the mountain-sheltered microclimate delivers the perfect balance of freshness and ripeness. Cold clarification at 12°C is followed by controlled fermentation to lock in aromatic purity and finesse. Tasting Notes Pale lemon in colour with bright clarity. The nose shows pronounced mineral intensity with delicate citrus blossom and white stone fruit aromas. On the palate, notes of grapefruit and green tea are complemented by a creamy, subtly unctuous texture and vibrant acidity. The finish is long, elegant, and persistent.
