About this wine
' The Senejac vineyard in the commune of Pian Medoc dates back to the 16th century. Since 1999, it has been the property of the Cordier family who also own and run the revered Grand Cru Classe Chateau Talbot in Saint-Julien. Today, it is Nancy Bignon-Cordier and family at the helm. The same care and attention is given to both wines, meaning that this one outperforms its ''standing''. The vineyard covers 41 hectares with classic, deep gravel soils and the vines have attained an average of 35 years. The wine is aged in oak barriques for 18 months before bottling. '
