The Domaine Feuillat-Juillot Montagny 1er Cru Les Jardins is an elegant, expressive white Burgundy, showcasing ripe white peaches, apricots, and honeysuckle. Concentrated yet fresh, it combines lush fruit with silky acidity for a balanced, bright finish. Meet the Producer Françoise Feuillat-Juillot was born into wine at the esteemed Domaine Michel Juillot in Mercurey. Drawing on both her heritage and modern winemaking education, she brings out the full expressive potential of Chardonnay, crafting wines that are pure, elegant, and true to their terroir. Production Grapes are hand-harvested from a small 0.6ha premier cru vineyard planted with 20-year-old vines on marl and limestone soils, facing east and south-east at 290 metres altitude. Fermentation, both alcoholic and malolactic, takes place in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks, followed by 8 months aging on fine lees to enhance texture and complexity. Tasting Notes A refined, beautifully balanced Montagny with an expressive nose of yellow fruits and a hint of honey. The palate is rounded and luscious, featuring ripe stone fruit and bright, silky acidity, finishing fresh, clean, and fruit-driven.
