About this wine

A sophisticated Red Blend showcasing the richness of Stellenbosch. This wine combines 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Shiraz, and 5% each of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. Aromas of baking spices, dark chocolate, and vibrant black fruits give way to complex notes of cassis, meat, and oak spice. The palate is dense yet finely tuned, with concentrated, harmonious tannins and a long, defined finish. Vineyard & Terroir Stellenbosch vineyards, benefitting from small, concentrated berries due to warm, dry growing conditions, producing deeply flavoured and structured wines. Winemaking Hand-harvested early in the morning, with whole berries fermented in open-top tanks and barrels. Fermentation included careful punch-downs and pump-overs. Each varietal was matured separately in oak barrels before final blending. Tasting Notes Dark chocolate, cassis, black fruit, baking spice, medium- to full-bodied, powerful yet balanced, with a long finish. Food Pairing Ideal with roasted or grilled red meats, game dishes, and mature hard cheeses.
