From vineyards perched on the terraced slopes of the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior, this is a blend of the region's finest indigenous varieties, aged in massive oak vats and destined for decades of cellar evolution. This vintage is built like a fortress - concentrated, powerful, and unyielding in its youth. The 2024 promises to follow Fonseca's tradition of wines that reward extraordinary patience, developing layer upon layer of complexity as Christmas cake richness gives way to leather, tobacco, and dried fruit elegance.
