Meet the Producer Kaapzicht is a family-owned estate in Stellenbosch's Bottelary Hills, dedicated to producing quality wines that reflect the unique character of their historic vineyards and the Cape winemaking tradition. Vineyard & Terroir Grapes are sourced from the Bottelary Hills in Stellenbosch, a historic area that was used as an outpost during the 1600s on the trek from Cape Town to Stellenbosch. The terroir produces fruit with concentration and balanced acidity. Winemaking Grapes were destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks with two pump-overs per day for gentle extraction. After malolactic fermentation, the wine was matured for 18 months in French oak to add complexity and integrate the blend. Tasting Notes Inky deep purple in colour with youthful aromas of sweet perfume, wild dark berries, sweet spice, and musk. The palate is lush, supple, and juicy, with bold red fruit, kirsch, and sour cherry, framed by fresh acidity, integrated oak, and soft tannins. A long, harmonious finish. Perfect Pairings Pairs well with roas
