Bottled unfiltered after extended cask ageing, it captures the depth and structure of a young vintage Port while remaining approachable and ready to drink. The 2018 vintage shows Noval’s hallmark purity of fruit, freshness, and precision. Producer Quinta do Noval is one of the Douro Valley’s historic estates, renowned for its steep terraced vineyards and meticulous winemaking. Known for producing some of the region’s most distinctive Ports, Noval focuses on clarity, terroir expression, and traditional methods. Their LBV is crafted from high‑quality grapes and treated with the same care as their vintage Ports, offering exceptional value and character. Tasting Notes Deep ruby‑purple in colour, the wine opens with aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, violet, and subtle spice. The palate is rich and concentrated, showing layers of black fruit, cocoa, and peppery complexity supported by firm yet polished tannins. Fresh acidity brings balance and lift. The finish is long, structured, and fruit‑driven, with lingering notes of dark berries and spice. Food Pairing Serve slightly chilled at 12–14°C.
