Situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Serra de Montejunto, the Quinta da Boa Esperança estate produces wines of real freshness, mineral precision, and a distinctly Atlantic character. Quinta da Boa Esperança's Colheita is a particularly refined expression, with a thoughtful split-fermentation approach that adds texture and depth without sacrificing the variety's signature freshness. Vineyard & Production Arinto vines are cultivated in clay-limestone soils at Quinta da Boa Esperança, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Serra de Montejunto. After hand-harvesting into 15kg crates, whole bunches are pressed and 90% of the must is fermented in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 10 to 12 degrees to preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. The remaining 10% is fermented in second-use French oak barrels and kept on fine lees with battonage for around 8 to 9 months, adding texture and complexity to the final blend. Vegan.
