Southern Right Pinotage is a refined expression of South Africa’s iconic grape variety, grown on a striking 448-hectare property in the cool, maritime Hemel-en-Aarde Valley. The vineyards benefit from clay-rich soils and proximity to the South Atlantic, which impart structure, minerality, and elegance. The wine undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation and is aged for nine months in 400-litre French oak barrels of mixed first to fourth fill, creating a subtle integration of oak and fruit. Production Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented to retain natural complexity and balance. The Pinotage undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation and is matured for nine months in 400-litre French oak barrels (8% first fill, 8% second, 16% third, 68% fourth fill), allowing a soft, fine-grained tannin structure while preserving bright fruit and varietal expression.
