Williams & Humbert Alegria Manzanilla 37.5cis a crisp, coastal expression of Palomino from Sanlúcar de Barrameda, aged under the unique influence of the seaside microclimate. The wine is biologically aged under a natural layer of Flor yeast for over five years, imparting a distinct saline character and bright freshness that defines classic Manzanilla. Produced from the first gravity pressing of Palomino grapes, it is light, dry, and delicately structured, with a bright golden hue and a pungent, yeasty aroma. Meet the producer Founded in 1877 by two Englishmen in Jerez de la Frontera, Williams & Humbert has become an internationally recognised Sherry house. The winery is located in the Sherry Triangle, a region famed for its unique microclimate, perfect for crafting high-quality, terroir-driven fortified wines. Production Grapes are pressed using the first gravity press to preserve purity and delicacy. The wine is then transported to Sanlúcar de Barrameda for biological ageing under Flor yeast for over five years. This slow, natural maturation imparts the wine’s signature salty tang and light body. Tasting notes Pale straw with bright golden undertones. The nose is pungent and yeasty with subtle saline notes. On the palate, it is very dry, light, and refreshing, with a crisp, salty tang and a delicate finish. Food match Pairs beautifully with fresh seafood, oysters, light tapas, or as an aperitif.
