They also produce this superb Pinot Noir which is made from top quality California fruit. Grapes are sourced from close to the Pacific Coast where the morning mists and fogs that roll in from the Pacific Ocean moderate the hot, sunny summer days. This helps to preserve freshness and aromatics in the finished wine. Before bottling the young wine is aged in French and American oak barrels to add polish and subtle hints of toast and woodsmoke. This fruit-forward Pinot is bursting with juicy dark berry notes including cassis, raspberry and dark cherries.
