The Domaine G. Saumaize Les Creuzettes is an elegant, mineral-driven white Burgundy with aromas of acacia flowers, lemon, and white peach, complemented by a subtle hint of honey and gentle creaminess. Fresh, lively acidity carries through a long, precise finish. Meet the Producer The 14.5-hectare Domaine G. Saumaize (formerly Domaine des Maillettes) is now run by Guillaume Saumaize, who continues the estate’s tradition of crafting expressive, terroir-driven wines from carefully selected plots in Burgundy. Production Grapes are sourced from the limestone soils of the Les Creuzettes vineyard, with vines aged at least 35 years. Hand-harvested fruit is pressed and cold-fermented, then aged in stainless steel for 11 months to preserve freshness and purity. Tasting Notes Bright and aromatic, with acacia, lemon, and freshly cut white peach on the nose. Subtle honeyed notes and delicate creaminess are beautifully balanced by vibrant acidity, culminating in a long, clean finish.
