This limited edition blended malt whisky has been created by Ichiro Akuto from two Japanese single malt distilleries, Chichibu and Mars - representing a paradigm shift in the industry, as cask sharing between distilleries is historically rare in Japan. The result is a whisky that opens with notes of ripe pineapple and mango with a touch of green banana and lemon. The palate showcases notes of rich vanilla custard with salted caramel and cinnamon before finishing with burnt orange and black pepper.
