Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition is the original beer-barrel-finished Irish whiskey, born from a chance conversation between Jameson's Head of Whiskey Science and the head brewer of a local Irish craft brewery. The idea was simple: swap barrels. Jameson whiskey casks went to the brewery to mature stout; stout-seasoned casks came back to Jameson to finish the whiskey. The result is a triple-distilled blended Irish whiskey with a distinctive craft beer character layered over the classic Jameson smoothness.
