Bodegas Juan Gil is dedicated to producing wines that authentically express the unique terroir of Jumilla, with a focus on organic viticulture and the indigenous Monastrell grape. Production Grapes come from 40-year-old bush vines at 700 metres above sea level to the north-east of Jumilla, on sandy, chalky, rocky soil. The grapes were hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel. The wine was aged in French and American oak for around 4 months to add complexity while preserving the vibrant fruit character. Tasting Notes The nose has rich plum and bramble characters, with delicate vanilla spice and cedar.
