King of Prussia Spiced Rum has warming spices of cinnamon and cloves with a hint of ginger. Sweet vanilla and caramel with a touch of banana. In the late 18th century, on the windswept shores of Mounts Bay, a band of brothers led by John Carter, the notorious "King of Prussia", defied the law. Yearning to quench the thirst of Cornwall, they plied their trade as smugglers. Guarded by their two heavily-armed vessels, the Phoenix and the Swallow, the Carters braved the harsh Cornish winters. They crisscrossed the choppy channel, venturing from northern France back to their hidden cove at Prussia Cove. Undeterred by the perils of the sea or the relentless pursuit of the British Navy, the brothers returned time and again. Their holds would be brimming with casks of rum, a bounty then distributed by their loyal crew throughout the grateful land.
