King's Inch, a superb single malt Scotch whisky hailing from Glasgow, has been meticulously crafted using a delightful blend of first-fill bourbon casks and first-fill Oloroso sherry butts. Developed by the esteemed Jack Mayo alongside the late Jim Swan, this flavoursome Lowland whisky is exceptionally well-suited for neat sipping but also excels in cocktails. The Scotch & Soda is a classic recommendation, and it promises to create an exceptional Sour as well. The whisky's aroma is characterised by crisp green apple and pear notes, enveloped in layers of vanilla and subtly toasted oak. On the palate, vibrant fruit notes dominate, with pineapple and orange joining the ensemble, interspersed with subtle chocolatey hints. The finish is rich with buttery vanilla, cinnamon, a touch of clove, and caramel.
